Before JF Building & Driveways arrived
The owner of this property requested help in deciding the correct materials and method with which to transform his home. We had a look at what the property would most benefit from visually. The tile cladding to the front of the property was old and not pleasing to the eye, furthermore the owner complained the front rooms were cold and draughty. This called for a subtle but impressive change by using a matching brick to transform the look. The windows were also replaced dramatically improving the thermal efficiency.
Driveways are the first thing you step on when arriving home so it makes sense to make your drive your own, there are a huge range of concrete or clay paving blocks for drives and paths available. If your budget does not stretch to a block paved drive then gravel or decorative stone drives can give an impressive finish.
After JF Building & Driveways have worked their magic
Brick walls give a long lasting and attractive appearance, the concrete retaining wall at this bungalow was ugly and in need of replacement. As you can see the end result is an attractive replacement brick finish.
The project was the modernisation of the front of our home including new windows, brickwork, retaining wall, fencing and block paved driveway. We are extremely pleased with the end result, the workmanship was excellent and was carried out with well-maintained equipment, with due care and attention given to every aspect of the job, including clearing up at the end of each day. We were kept informed at each stage of the project and always felt that we were in control at all times. The project was completed within the specified timeframe and budget. Groundworks and drainage work under way
Poor flowing drains usually are a result of collapsed pipes due to land movement or root damage. We can investigate and remedy this problem. If drains need re-routing for whatever reason we have the know-how.
New fence made this property smart again
This photo shows a new sewerage drain installation due to poor flow due to root damage. As you can see if it’s under a block paved area that’s no problem we can deal with it.
